Practicing for when you have to shoot at a paper target
2007 97ci Dyna
I miss this black harley. I think I'll find an old FXR and recreate this badboy.

Before and after
This xs650 had a bent valve, blown piston, and totally obliviated head. It looked like it had sat in a swamp for 20 years. |

Done
The Badass Cycles vintage hotrod 1979 XS650 is now complete.
Custom had crafted, refurbished and rebuilt from the ground up. Tuned and dialed in to perfection.
This custom bike is kick & electric start, keeping it old school and barebones period correct.
This classic custom sounds great and runs beautifully. A real pleasure to ride and own.

Sat pre ride Zen
The new cult of the cafe racer in Canada and the USA, and to a lesser extent in Europe and Japan - is nothing less than gas powered, piston-driven, open-piped punk rock. It had to happen and its badass that it did.
I've looked at what the media, the government and the old men who run motorcycling have told me what to want and I have decided its crap. Fat tires are out people. So are chrome whore high dollar "custom" choppers.
Only problem I have is that social media turns DIY punk rock idealism into its antithesis and comes off as some type of pseudo-elitist fashion statement. STAY OFF FACEBOOK, you're a biker not a 12 yr old girl.
Long overdue
It's been months since I last updated this blog so today I added a few things of what I've been up to.
I have a few projects on the go and many more on the horizon.
This time I'll try and keep this site updated more frequently. Stay tuned!

Helmet
Gold metal flake on this 1980's Shoei full face.
Was gonna keep this one but made a good profit off Ebay.

2013 Harley Davidson Slim
A few years back I set a goal to buy a brand new Harley buy flipping bikes.
This past spring I finally had the cash together to buy the new softail I'd been drooling over since it introduced in 2012.
The last Dyna I had was basically the bike I wanted to ride but when I had the chance to upgrade to a new 2013, why not.

1976 XS650
This 76 XS was a fun little project that was a quick turn around.
Had some fun trying a different approach than what I usually do with a fabbed up seat section and 10" honda shocks.
Used a Capacitor for power and straight kick only.
Fairing, fork covers, and wassell tank were new, everything else I made in the shop
Tried a couple different paint schemes for practice.
